Alternate Desktop Icon

Someone (credit pending) turned the

Baal quest icon into a remastered version of the LOD icon. Looks nicer than what D2R came with in my opinion.

Official D2R icon next to Legacy LOD icon and the alternate D2R icon which is attached below.


Instructions:

• Download the attached file and rename it to "d2r-lod.ico" (Will not let me attach .ico file types)
• (If you do not see the extension in the file name; click on 'View' at the top of your file explorer and then enable file name extensions)
• Right click on your D2R desktop shortcut and go to properties. Then click "Change icon..." & locate the new file.

That definitely looks more like a remastered version of the game icon

I edited and use this icon for my D2R install so I can tell its different from my other icons quickly. Same process as @BMAY has put in his instructions.

• Add ".ico" at the end of the file instead of ".ini"

• Go to "Properties" of the desktop shortcut for your D2R shortcut

• Select "Change Icon..." and find the file where you saved the icon file.

( I would throw the file in the same folder as D2R at "Game\Battle.net\Diablo II Resurrected\" or somewhere it won't be accidentally deleted )

• Hit "Ok" and then "Apply"
